Moldova 2007 -- We were thrilled to be able to take a train from Chisinau to Bucharest! Because of communism, the railroad gauges are different in Moldova and Romania. So part of the border crossing involved taking the train car off the one set of wheels (with us still in the car!) and setting it onto another set of wheels that fit the Romanian tracks.
