Moldova 2007 -- Aaron was one of the youth interns and an incredible soccer player. He is so talented and earned the kids' respect right away. So at the end of the time in Slobozia, he told them how important soccer was to him (which they of course could relate to). He talked about the two years he couldn't play because of knee surgeries. They looked genuinely sad for him! He then said that even if he could never play soccer again, it would be okay because he has Jesus, and He is all we need. I wish you could have seen how enthralled they were during his talk. The idea that Jesus is all you need, and He's even more important than soccer, was something for them to think about.
