Moldova 2007 -- One of our biggest concerns was that they would miss the spiritual points and focus on the fun we were having. So we asked our translator to explain to them that we did not come to Moldova on holiday just to play soccer with them (which is what they thought!). We came all that way just to tell them that we love them and more importantly God loves them and has a plan for them. One kid said, “They came all the way just to tell us that? Wow...” It was really neat when we heard that!
